Marly

I walk many walks and talk many talks but, at the heart of it all, I am a movement-based multi-media artist.  I have chosen to embrace the reality that, due to both my unquenchable thirst for life and circumstances beyond my control, I am destined to wear many hats; be all the things.  It feels impossible, however, for me to separate anything that I do from my art and so each and every life experience is added to the ever-simmering mother-sauce of invention.

I believe strongly in art, creativity and self-expression as means to heal, cultivate understanding, break down barriers, communicate, and build.  In all that I do, I seek to connect with people and engage in collaborative processes that inspire creative problem solving and open-minded investigation.  

I am currently engaged in work primarily in Michigan, Vermont, and New York City.   Have a look around the site to find out more about my specific endeavors.  I am always looking to teach, perform, choreograph, collaborate, brainstorm, and generally embark on new projects so please feel free to get in touch!
